Madonna is collaborating with Shawn Levy for Her Biopic Series on Netflix

The Queen of Pop, Madonna, is collaborating with the Deadpool& Wolverine director, Shawn Levy, for the biopic series on Netflix. Deadline has recently made the announcement, which has generated a huge sensation among everyone. According to the report, it is coming to know that it is going to be a limited series on the OTT platform. The executive producer of this Netflix series is Shawn Levy.

The collaboration with Madonna hasn’t been confirmed yet, but it will be done very soon. As of now, it is becoming clear that the series will be the biopic of the pop artist. This is a completely different project from Madonna’s prolonged biopic film with Universal. The film was first announced in 2020, and at that time, it was also revealed that the film is being written and will be directed by the singer herself. Along with her, the screenwriter of Juno, Diablo Cody, will also be a part of the writing. Amy Pascal will be the producer of the Universal movie.

For the character of young Madonna, they have cast Julia Garner. She was cast for the film, and now it is coming to know that she will be a part of the limited series on Netflix as well. The planning of the movie has been going on for a long time. In July 2024, they started working on the film once again. However, there isn’t any update on when the movie is going to be released. The making of the film was paused because the producers were trying to ‘downsize’ the film and convert it into a series.
