In a recent statement, Björk said, “I am so thrilled to share the film for my concert Cornucopia with you,” and further added, “This has been a long journey with hundreds of people helping. I am so beyond enormously grateful to every single one of them. I feel the modern concert film is a matriarchally friendly construct, welcomed in the current climate — where female musicians can share their worlds uncorrupted.” Evidently, the artist is embracing her womanhood and Mother Nature through this release, which also marks the signature style of her musical creations.

The concert film is directed by Argentine filmmaker Lucrecia Martel, and it consists of an extensive discography by the artist. It will include hit tracks from her hit LP from 2017, ‘Utopia’, as well as the songs from her recent album ‘Fossora’, which was released in 2022 and created a huge buzz among the fans. The concert film was previously released for a limited time in the theatres. She has also published a companion book for her last tour in the fall, which features more than 300 images from Santiago Felipe.

Björk is best known for being vocally active on various matters, including nature, gender discrimination, and the condition of music artists in the current industry. Previously, she stated that Spotify is perhaps the “worst thing that has happened to musicians,” and this suggestion showcases her unapologetic self that fears none.
