Sabrina Carpenter Made a Spoof of ‘Sex and The City’ for SNL 51

Popstar Sabrina Carpenter is all set to offer a solo performance on Saturday Night Live with dual responsibilities to host and perform as a musical guest. The artist has recently teased the upcoming episode with a brand new teaser, and it seems like she is a part of a spoof for ’Sex and The City’.

The third episode of the 51st season of SNL is all set to take place on October 18, and Carpenter’s fans are eagerly waiting for it. This upcoming episode will also help Sabrina to promote her new album ‘Man’s Best Friend’. This will be the first time for the artist to host the show.

Previously, Sabrina made an appearance at the SNL show but only as a musical guest for Season 49. She was also present at the 50th anniversary celebrations for Saturday Night Live. It seems like the pop star has become a part of the SNL family. At the celebrations, the fans of Sabrina could find an amazing off-key version of ‘Espresso’.

The SNL season 51 premiere was hosted by Bad Bunny, which took place on October 4. This time, Doja Cat made her debut at SNL as a musical guest.  Amy Poehler, from the show’s alumni, also returned to the stage as the host on October 11. The episode featured Role Model as a musical guest.

The teaser for the upcoming third episode shows that Sabrina Carpenter resembles the personality of Carrie Bradshaw while sipping on a glass of cosmopolitan and typing on her laptop as she eagerly waits for her ‘Mr. Big’; quite filmy, right?! In the sketch, the singer says, “New York is one big apple, and I’m taking my bite at Saturday Night Live,” which pretty much sums up the vibe for the upcoming episode of SNL.

Sabrina Carpenter is currently on a streak of shows as she is already booked for Coachella 2026, as the singer will be headlining the show along with Justin Bieber and Karol G. She has also confirmed that she will be performing at the closing nights of the desert music festival. Coachella 2026 is all set to take place on two consecutive weekends from April 10 to 12 and April 17 to 19.
