Malaika Arora Facing Backlash for Her Performance in Yo Yo Honey Singh’s ‘Chillgum’

Malaika Arora, the Bollywood superstar, has recently appeared in Yo Yo Honey Singh’s latest song ‘Chillgum’. Only the track’s teaser has been released, and Malaika is already receiving much backlash from the audience. The actress has been seen showing some bold moves, which have gotten much attention. The upcoming track is from Honey Singh’s latest album ’51 Glorious Days’. The singer and rapper is all set to drop the album that brings bringing the nostalgia of Honey Singh’s old songs. His fans were quite excited about the new song release. But it isn’t going according to their expectation.

The teaser of the soundtrack has been released on 7^th November. The new song has the energy of 90s music, but the response of the audience is quite surprising. From the teaser, it came to see that Malaika is dancing with the rapper under the neon lights, and her moves are quite energetic. They have tried to show some chemistry, which has attracted many audiences, but most of them ain’t satisfied. Netizens have shared their opinion, and it can be clearly said that most audiences didn’t show any positive response.

After watching the teaser, many have stated on social media that the choreography is ‘vulgar’. One also said that the chemistry looks very much ‘forced’, which has made the song quite boring. Malaika Arora has given many hit item tracks in the industry throughout her career. But she hasn’t received such backlash in her career. Thus, it is quite surprising for the actress as well. Malaika was the artist who gave the banger like ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’, which still has a soft spot in everyone’s hearts even after 27 years. Thus, no one expected this from Malaika.

In another photo, she is seen twerking near the rapper, and that wasn’t pleasing as well. After watching all these, one user stated, ‘It’s because she can’t do it properly, that’s why it seems vulgar. First, these choreographers come up with the sleaziest moves, and when the actress can’t pull it off, they get shamed online’. Another also said ‘Sunidhi Chauhan’s Aankh is an example of a good item song where Sanya Malhotra performed with power and grace. This one just feels awkward and forced’.

One also added by saying, ‘The problem is that it isn’t sexy or attractive. It’s just vulgar. You can mostly get away with frisky performances if you make them look stylish.
