Miley Cyrus Prepares to Celebrate Two Decades of Hannah Montana with Special Plans

There is no doubt that Miley Cyrus has gained more attention as Hannah Montana than her actual musical career; without that early ‘acting pop life’, it would not have been possible for her to embark on a real pop music career. Hannah Montana is one of the most creative projects by Disney Channel, which not only launched her career but also created a sensation in pop culture and inspired more kids to pursue their passions, even if secretly. It is time for the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Hannah Montana, as two decades have passed, and it seems like Miley already has some special fans.

While speaking at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, Cyrus said that she is preparing to honor this milestone, and fans are eager for it. Hannah Montana was launched in 2006, and in 2026, it will be 20 years old. Miley Cyrus is also best known as Miley Stewart, and the artist has expressed her desire to make the fans happy who have been supporting her journey from the beginning of her career.

She appeared at the festival in a special hairstyle which brought back the memories of Hannah, the character’s iconic look. She showed it to the audience and said, “You see the bangs.” The Hint was enough for the fans and media to understand that Miley is cooking something. Quite certainly, the press asked her about the details of the upcoming celebrations, to which she replied, “We’re working hard on ’em.”  Evidently, the artist is leaving no chance to miss out on the 20th Anniversary of Hannah Montana, the character that helped and inspired her to embark on her musical career.

In a recent interview, the singer cum actress has also shown her desire to resonate with long-term fans who have been supporting her since her teenage years. She stated, “I want the fans to really feel seen.” This is not the first time, but Miley has shared this fact on multiple occasions that she wanted to do something special for the Hannah fans, and it seems like it is finally going to happen soon!

Talking about Montana shaping her persona and career, Miley said, “I want to design something really, really special for it because it really was the beginning of all of this that now sits here today. Without Hannah, there really wouldn’t be this kind of me.” While receiving the Outstanding Artistic Achievement Award at the Palm Springs event, Cyrus made sure to dedicate the award to Hannah and said, “In so many ways, this award is dedicated to Hannah and all of her amazing loyal fans, and to everyone who has made my dream a reality. To quote the legend herself, ‘This is the life.’”
