It seems like the Canadian rapper has been working in silence, as Drake has come up with a total of three album projects altogether. Previously, he announced that there would be only one album released on May 15, but the rapper surprised everyone with a total of 3 album projects, namely, ‘Iceman’, ‘Maid of Honour’, and ‘Habibti’.

The three albums have been meticulously crafted by collaborating with some of the most talented artists in the industry. While the songs have features from Future, Sexyy Red, 21 Savage, Molly Santana, Loe Shimmy, and many others, beatmakers like Riot, Boi-1da, Ovrkast, DJ Frisco954, and many others are part of this trio album release. It goes without saying that fans are quite happy to have two more creative siblings of ‘Iceman,’ and the latest tracks are currently buzzing on the streaming sites.

Drake has been conducting the Iceman livestream series for a while now, and in the fourth episode of the series, he revealed that he is willing to triple his career album count. The stream also showcases clips from the latest music videos, which seem to be shot around his hometown of Toronto. Audiences could witness the cameos from his Adonis, along with Shane Gillis and DJ Akademiks.

These three album projects seem to be the self-reflection of the artist in this new era, as the covers for the albums offer a personal relationship. ‘Maid of Honour’ comes with an album cover where Drake’s mother could be seen at a young age. On the other hand, the album ‘Iceman’ comes with a cover that shows a hand with sequined gloves, which appears to be a reference to pop icon Michael Jackson. Similarly, audiences can find a black-and-white image of a woman who is covered with masking tape, leaving only her eyes open, on the cover of the album ‘Habibti’. This shows much more maturity and development than ‘Certified LoverBoy’.

The latest three album projects are being released after a long time since ‘For All the Dogs’ in 2023 and a ruthless battle with Kendrick Lamar. Last year, Drake was found talking about the existence of ‘Iceman’ as he said, “When the time is right, I’ll be back with another album—a one-on-one conversation with y’all that you need to hear.” In order to promote ‘Iceman’, Drake also arranged a team to build a giant ice sculpture in Toronto, where the album’s premiere date was hidden. That entire publicity stunt is finally paying off!

In 2025, Drake dropped a collaboration album project with PartyNextDoor, which is titled ‘$ome $exy $ongs 4 U’. The latest three albums are solo projects by Drake that showcase that he is still in the game!
