Brando Bogart’s exclusive EP titled ‘What’s the Point?’ is soaked into the essence of 80’s classic rock

The old rock band Brando Bogart is brought back in its united form after teetering through many obstacles with the release of the new EP ‘What’s the Point?’ in July.

Brando Bogart

Brando Bogart is the mega rock band from the 80’s that produced many exuberant classic rock numbers to make the high school prom king and queen dance nonstop through the night. Years passed by and the razzmatazz slowly faded away due to many unexpected episodes in their life. But they are determined to bring back the authentic music in the new decade by reuniting like the old times. The band has dropped a brand new EP called ‘What’s the Point?’ in mid-July. They have decided to contour their strong musicality with something edgier and comfortable that can take their music to the new generation.

Brando Bogart is a band of five that was originally created in the 80’s. The band members (Gordon Benson, Jim Boyle, Kelly Kristjanson, Tommy Pa, and Darrell West) have walked a long way together to support each other’s dreams. Back in the old days, they became the most popular rock band with the massive album “Shadows of the Past” (1979-1980). Their indigenous rock sound was similar to listening to a mainstream radio that was dipped into overwhelming emotions and head-bobbing guitar riffs.

They are back again with the same magic and deep philosophies written by Kelly Kristjanson, as the new songs of the exclusive EP of 2020, ‘What’s the Point?. The first single from the EP is ‘What’s the Point?’ that creates art from frustration. It has that classic touch of country rock that takes us back for a few years like a time machine. With the second song ‘Almost to Mexico’, they keep coming back to the root. It is for those who have visited many places and known many faces but cannot call it home. The veterans of classic rock have forged ‘Best of Me’ with traditional bars that tell the story of a dubious relationship. ‘Las Vegas’ is a song of inspiration and high hopes presented with a hard, witty edge.
