When Beyoncé released ‘Act I: Renaissance’ on July 29, 2022, the world rejoiced as she was returning to the music scene after so long, as her last album ‘Lemonade’ was released in 2016. With the huge success of ‘Act I: Renaissance’, when the artist announced the Renaissance Tour, it turned the whole world into a frenzy. Currently, the artist is parading over North America on her bedazzled horse and catalog full of hits. The two-and-a-half hour spectacle of the ‘Renaissance World Tour’ is filled with all elements of her genius. Even at the age of 41, the singer displayed warmth and genuine appreciation for her sold-out crowd of 49,000 on stage.

One of her show attendees said “She hasn’t just raised the bar – she’s obliterated it,” about her spectacular performance on the world tour. The singer, songwriter, and producer was able to make her audience at the massive Rogers Centre feel as intimate as ever with her magnificent two-and-a-half-hour show for the first of two sold-out nights in North America. One of the things that made the superstar execute everything so incredibly was the giant LED screen that projected Queen Bey’s image with such clarity that made her audience feel as if everyone got the front row tickets. There was no artificial image that could be noticed, it was as real as it could get, Beyoncé was right there!

The venue was filled with people of all genders, dressed in sparkly, glittery, cowboy boots and outfits with tassels, all ready for the biggest dance party of the year. The warm-up between the attendees was very heartwarming to notice as the crowd moved in sync, from complementing each other on the dazzling outfits to enjoying and dancing on the tracks together, something that only Beyoncé could produce. Another positive thing that this disco party showcased was the support for the LGBTQ+ community, as more people started to fill up the stadium, “the giant screen displayed the color bars of the Progress Pride flag”.

And then she emerged with her famous opener “Dangerously In Love,” the Destiny child ballad looking absolutely God-like and delivering exceptional vocals. The 30 minutes long set list was divided into different parts such as “the Opening Act, then Act 1: Welcome to the Renaissance; Act II: Motherboard; Act III: Opulence; Act IV: Anointed; Act. V: Anointed pt. 2; and Act VI: Mind Control” along with a one-song encore.
