The Smile’s Jonny Greenwood and Thom Yorke made sure to captivate the crowd with not just their music but their unwavering presence as well. With the songs “Under Our Pillows,” and “Being Pulled Apart By Horses”, the fest-goers could feel the poetic layers along with a clean musical arrangement.

On the other hand, Brooklyn rapper Leikeli47’s explicitly engaging bars show her lyrical hold and catchy deliverance. The person behind the mask holds some strong notions and words! Her words with magic really put a spell on the fans and made them go crazy on stage, bringing out the ‘bad-n-boujee’ energy.

Not every Genius is Perfume Genius where Mike Hadreas can literally tangle himself in a pale yellow tulle fabric and this serve. Whacky, fun, and greatly moving; they made sure everyone is enjoying the gig. Tracks like “No Shape”, and “Slip Away,” intensified the scene even more.

Jlin’s mixing desk erupted transcending rhythms hit on a spiritual level while Grace Ives takes over the stage. It does not require to say that, Sen Morimoto’s saxophone work was a cherry on the cake. Lastly, Nourished by Time offered the melodies of R&B dance-pop.

Headlining the event, Big Thief made sure to offer a cozy ambiance that envelops all. Calm and gorgeous, the band created a subdued atmosphere with their tenderness. “Vampire Empire”, “Spud Infinity,” etc invited fans to join a peaceful and nourishing musical journey.

Similarly, there was Yaya Bey with her iconic pink gown and blue boots, adding more colors to her amalgamated flavor of R&B, reggae, and soul. With Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul, you do not go to the party but the party comes to you. Bringing club down to Union Park with their tasty beats, the duo knows how to resonate with the mass.

Black Belt Eagle Scout painted a picture where rock meets poetry. Intriguing lyrical approach and an enjoyable indie rock arrangement; is all that fans wanted on the weekend. MJ Lenderman kind of raised the buzz with his guitar grooves in sunglasses.

In a nutshell, Pitchfork Music Festival 2023 offered an unforgettable experience through its 3-day event. Stay tuned to get more updates!
