Popular actor Amit Tandon has recently won the hearts of the internet with his latest song. He recreated the legend Kishore Kumar’s one of the most popular songs, ‘Ek Haseena Thi’, and posted the video on YouTube. The song is from the famous movie, ‘Karz’.
While talking about the song, he said, ‘’Ek Haseena Thi’ is one of my favorite songs. I always wanted to sing it for a special day and finally, I sang it for my fans on New Year’s Eve. I’m glad that my audience is enjoying and appreciating me for the song.’
He has been receiving quite the shout-out on the video and the fans have been praising his singing ability. He is a man of many talents. He is not just an actor but a singer and musician as well. He stepped into the entertainment scene after he participated in the first season of the popular music reality show Indian Idol. After that, he also got into acting. He played popular characters like Prithvi Bose in ‘Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai’, Subramaniam ‘Subbu’ Chandran in ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, Dr. Abhimanyu Modi in ‘Dill Mill Gayye’, and Abhishek Khurana in ‘Kasam Tere Pyar Ki’. He also played the role of Jimmy/Rahul in the comedy show ‘Jennie Aur Juju’.
After Indian Idol, he joined two more reality shows ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar’ and ‘Zara Nachke Dikha’. He also caught the attention of the audience after he performed in the 2009 India Telly Awards with Sara Khan on the song, ‘Twist’ from the movie ‘Love Aaj Kal’. He was the host of the 4th season of the reality show ‘Dadagiri’ on UTV Bindaas in 2011. Though he has mostly done TV shows, he played the role of Arjun in the movie, ‘Creature 3D’.
He is interested in music and acting equally. He even released his first-ever solo album, ‘Tanha – Lonely at Heart on Tips’ in 2008. He said, ‘Along with my music career I’m also open to TV, Bollywood, or OTT projects. I’m planning to treat my fans with a number of songs in 2022. I’m already working on a few of the songs which will be out very soon. I just hope every one of us enjoys enough opportunities this year and hope this Omicron virus turns out to be nothing serious and we all can overcome this.’
