Children’s music always makes the biggest impression when it successfully sparks imagination, and Patrick Adams understands that perfectly. His newest release, ‘Story Time’, is a perfect example of that, where every record feels like going on a completely new adventure. This album is a collection of songs inspired by his Amazing Lisa and Rhythm’s World book series. However, this is not a simple compilation of the songs; this album stands tall on its own. It invites young listeners to the spirited worlds filled with curiosity and escapade.
The album opens with ‘Story Time’, and it has a welcoming tone that offers warmth and a familiar feeling to the audience. Immediately after that, the album makes a turn and takes its listeners on an unforgettable journey. Songs like ‘Brazilian Macaw’, ‘Italian Surprise’, ‘Sands of Egypt’, ‘Air Lisa’, etc. bring our playful rhythms and vibrant melodies, and pair perfectly with the enjoyable hooks that grab the children’s attention instantly. The second half continues the journey with sparkling and bouncy records such as ‘Sensational Asia’, ‘We Love Sports’, ‘South America’, and ‘Goin’ to the Zoo’. Every song is different than others, both in terms of messages and compositions. As the closing track, ‘Sneak Preview’, leaves the listeners with an anticipation for the next chapter.
With a total of 10 tracks, ‘Story Time’ introduces a fresh musical flavor that your child will hum to again and again.
