Pop icon Katy Perry has headlined the star-studded program which has been created in partnership with the Universal Music Group (UMG), which is also the world leader in music-based entertainment, is ready to accompany the fan-focused activations for celebrating the 25 years of completion of Pokemon across the franchise’s portfolio of video games, animation, mobile apps, merchandise, and much more.
As a means to let their fans kick off this huge celebration, a live-action video that uniquely highlights the moments of the brand’s 25-year history and to take them all down through the journey of Pokemon’s world’s many regions, the video can be viewed on the official Pokemon YouTube channel.
Pokemon is currently working with some of the biggest names in the music industry that includes everyone from rising artists to the award-wining global superstars, for the program being titled P25 Music. And, with Katy Perry collaborating with the massive campaign, things can only be expected to get higher and bigger.

While speaking about the big event, Katy Perry has stated that Pokemon has always been a constant in her life, from playing the original video games on her Game Boy to trading Pokemon TCG cards at lunch, and also to the adventures of catching Pokemon on the street with Pokemon GO, Pokemon has always remained close to her. Katy added that she has even visited the Pokemon Café in Japan while she was on tour and it is an absolute honor for her to be chosen to help celebrate a franchise that has given her so much joy in the last 25 years.
