There are many artists who are trying to speak their stories through their music but not many do get noticed. However, Lucid Jab is one such gifted singer who is impossible to ignore with his thoughtful lyrics. It is surprising to see how such a young artist is able to create such deep, thoughtful and realistic creations. Most of his songs are based on the Hip-Hop and Emo Rap genres. This results in compositions of songs that is quite unheard of but beautiful. You get the fast lyric delivery as well as those deep blues. And his three creations ‘Died Inside’, ‘None of this is real’ and ‘Never Change’ is the perfect example of him combining the genres.
All these tracks seem to be a combination of Emo and Rap. ‘Died Inside’ is powerful enough to reduce you to tears. It with its relatable lyrics and the artist’s voice emerges with all intensity. Though it has the rhythmic bass and beats of hip-hop genre it is the soft melody with puts a twist onto it. ‘None of this is real’ is another track that is based on real-life experiences of an individual.
