Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio professionally known as Bad Bunny is no stranger to girls around the world wanting him. But he broke the hearts of millions in February when the news of him romancing supermodel Kendall Jenner hit the news. Both of them got out of their respective relationships in the past year, when Bad Bunny broke up with his longtime girlfriend Gabriela Berlingeri and Jenner broke up with Devin Booker in late 2022.
So let’s see the entire timeline of this buzzy romance.
February 2023 and the start of the romance:
The Grammy-winning rapper and singer moved to Los Angeles in February this year where the two met for the first time through mutual friends. Soon after the rumors of these two romancing, TMZ captured them leaving a dinner at the same restaurant in Beverly Hills allegedly following a double date with pal Hailey and Justin Bieber. According to an anonymous submission to celebrity gossip account Deux Moi, these two were also seen locking lips and engaging in passionate kisses at a private club.
Kissing and making it official?!
Just after a month in March, the lovebirds were photographed sharing a kiss in a parking lot after the two spent a night out with friends in West Hollywood, confirming the status that they are indeed an item.
The infamous horse date:
Kendall Jenner, known for her love for horses took her Beau on a romantic date where they were seen horseback riding at the Hidden Hills Equestrian Center in California. The photos captured by TMZ show that at first the two were seen riding together but then the singer went on a solo ride as the model smiled and captured him.
The power couple, PDA, and Coachella:
Coachella, the music and arts festival in Indio, California is a hotspot for new couples and their packed PDAs. Bad Bunny was one of the performers at this year’s festival where Kendall Jenner was spotted supporting the artist from the crowd and dancing to his famous track ‘Después de la Playa’ on April 14th. Then the two were again seen the following day together watching Rosalía’s performance and getting heavy on PDA on Sunday. Later in the evening, the singer almost made it Instagram official where the rapper uploaded a video on his story with Jenner’s voice in the background.
Concerts and dinner dates:
The duo was seen attending a music concert by rapper Tyler, the Creator in L.A. in what seemed to be a casual date on April 26 coordinating in white t-shirts and black pants. Then on April 29, the pair was spotted on a date night out in NYC where they had dinner at Carbone, the celebrity hotspot before they headed out to Pergola.
Met Gala and date night:
Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny were both among the attendees of this year’s Met Gala. Even though the couple did not make a joint appearance on the red carpet, they sure made a date night out of the after party. Jenner was styled by Marc Jacobs and was seen wearing a black glitter bodysuit. On the other hand, Benito was spotted wearing a “white tweed suit with a rosette cape” by Jacquemus. Both of them were seen heading towards the after party where the rapper was wearing a simple white t-shirt, with dark brown trousers and a brown jacket, complementing the model’s Nensi Dojaka playsuit.
First public outing:
The couple made their first public appearance together at the Crypto.com Arena to watch the V of Lakers-Warriors. Both of them were seen coordinating by wearing snake-printed boots and smiling and talking closely throughout the entire game. The rapper was also spotted resting his arm on Jenner’s seat occasionally.
Matching outfits and dates:
One thing that Benito and Jenner seemed to have in common was their love for style and fashion statements. Both of them were seen multiple times wearing coordinated outfits. On a dinner date in Santa Monica, both of them were seen in coordinated black leather ensembles. Jenner was seen wearing a black leather coat and the rapper wore a black leather jacket with black leather trousers. On June 30, they were again spotted in the public outing, and this time the couple was dressed more casually, and in white.
Hinted at their romance publicly and becoming more serious:
In June 2023 the couple opened up about their need to protect their private lives in new respective interviews. In the interview with WSJ magazine, Jenner said no comment when asked about her romance with the rapper and Bad Bunny also echoed the same thing in an interview with Rolling Stone. However, it was reported that the pair are growing closer than ever while still keeping things light and continuing dating.
Drake show and making out:
When in August Drake performed a show in Los Angeles, the couple looked in love more than ever. In the videos shared by TikTokers, Bad Bunny and Kendall Jenner were seen making out, laughing, dancing, and sweetly embracing each other while Drake played on the stage.
Instagram video and Benito wearing Kendall’s initial:
The rapper shared an intimate moment with his girlfriend on August 27, 2023, in a story uploaded to Instagram. In the video Jenner is heard calling out to a little squirrel and Bad Bunny is seen telling her “Mami, be careful.” Then the rapper also posted another story, a photo of two cocktails next to the tequila bottle of 818, Jenner’s brand.
On the next day, Benito was seen wearing a gold chain with the “K” charm which is the initials of Kendall’s name.
Bad Bunny’s message to fans criticizing his romance:
In the interview with Vanity Fair, the musician talked about creating personal boundaries, especially for his private life. He says, “I’m not really interested in clarifying anything because I have no commitment to clarify anything to anyone. I am clear and my friend Jomar is clear and my mother is clear. They are the only ones to whom I have to clarify anything. As for Juliana Dominguez from Mississippi, I have nothing I need to clarify to her. Never. About anything.”
Milan Fashion Week and appearance in luxe Gucci campaign:
Both of them were spotted once again at the runaway show of Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2024 in Milan where they sat together at the front row. Later the pair made a very public appearance by teaming up for the Gucci’s Valigeria luggage collection’s ad campaign.
The two of them were seen together for the last time on October 6, in Miami, following the performance of the ‘Un Verano Sin Ti’ rapper at the Billboard Latin Music Awards.
