The annual reggae festival at St. Petersburg in Florida has been pushed back due to the pandemic once again. It is one of the latest live music events that have pushed to a later date and a fourth is going to be added to the festival when it will take place at last in the spring.

The original schedule for Reggae Rise Up Florida was slated to take place at Vinoy Park and it will take place between March 20-22. But later on, due to the coronavirus, it has been pushed back to spring and will be held between October 2-4. The festival authorities also added that they are not going to issue any refunds and the decisions were taken in the best interest of safety and public health.

The organizers of the event took to Instagram on Friday morning and came up with the announcement that the schedule of the festival is now on March 2021.

According to the post made by the authorities, that the only thing they want is that music has to return. They also added that it was quite unfortunate the festival for this year has to be postponed until the March weekend held between the 18th and 21st in 2021. The decisions have been taken as there are no available options to bring all of them together at this time with due responsibility. `

Many popular brands like Dirty Heads, Slightly Stupid and Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley are all set to make headlines in the event and an extra night will be added to the event. The other major bands that are included in the bill are Groundation, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Katastro, Badfish: A Tribute to Sublime, the Movement, the Expendables, Hirie, Collie Buddz, Ballyhoo!, Protoje, Matisyahu, and Fortunate Youth. A rocking of reggae event is on the cards for the fans.
