The rising star of the music industry, Isa Raja has come up with a brand new track that is now impressing his fans and strengthening his name in the international music industry. The track, entitled I Gotta Stop is a brilliant piece of work that has all the compelling components that a listener looking for energizing music can expect. Starting with exciting and dynamic beats to an enlivening composition, from compelling lyrics to an emotive voice, the artist delivered nothing short of a masterpiece.  A few days back, our team had the opportunity to sit for an interview with a promising music artist and discuss almost everything. Let’s see how that interview went…

Isa Raja

DMR: Congratulations on the release of your latest single ‘I gotta Stop’. The audience has been pouring their love and support from the day the track came out. How are you feeling?

Isa: I’m feeling good and happy knowing the single is accepted and enjoyed by people who listened. I hope more people get to know my songs and also enjoy them.

DMR: After listening to ‘I Gotta Stop’ one would say, the music came from a very dear place, almost a place of hurting. What inspired the track?

Isa: It’s about a relationship that didn’t work out, sort of a personal experience with my ex, there was a moment when she wanted to take the relationship to the next level (a marriage) while I was still in the phase of enjoying the moment at that time & trying to make her understand that there’s no need to rush anything since there were things that we need to adjusts between each other and also just want to become more connected and maintain the chemistry.

DMR: Every single song of yours tells a story, is this why you started to make music? To tell and express whatever you are feeling?

Isa: Well not really, but of course as a musician, I’m using music as a medium to express things that I feel, but also ideas into stories and subjectively pour my point of view and being honest to myself of how I see life and everything around me.

DMR: After the success of the track, you as an artist and a brand are getting way bigger and more noticeable. Does it feel motivating?

Isa: Yes, it does feel motivating and I also try to manage the situation when I feel like being noticed, and some people’s eyes are on me, and also manage the feeling of things evolving around me while thinking to be more creative in my work, making songs, etc.

DMR: What inspired you to become a musician? Was it always a childhood dream of yours?

Isa: My Dad and my Mom are my inspiration of me to become a musician, how they try to enjoy life with all its good and its bad and try to perceive that everything in life is a matter of perspective and that there’s always some sort of a media to express things or how we feel, especially when experiencing something not favorable.
Anyway, at some point… music was always one of the things that interest me, although my childhood dream was to become a Broadway actor.

DMR: If music was not in the scene, what career path would you think you would have taken?

Isa: I probably would have myself being a photographer, painter, or contemporary dancer.

DMR: Are there any artists, from old-school music or the modern-day music industry whom you find inspiring?

Isa: I found many, especially Bono of U2, John Rzeznik of Goo Goo Dolls, Paolo Nutini, and Alanis Morissette, inspiring.

DMR: If you could bring back any legendary artist from the dead, for a collaboration, who would it be?

Isa: It would be Bob Dylan, John Denver and Joni Mitchell, and Nina Simone.

DMR: Which modern-day artist you would love to make music with?

Isa: Well, hopefully, one day I can collaborate or be involved in some works with John Rzeznik, Paolo Nutini, Lewis Capaldi, Lenny Kravitz, Taylor Swift, Adele, James Bay, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Avril Lavigne, and Pink.

DMR: Are there any possibilities of you going on a tour soon?

Isa: Yes, hopefully in the near months after finalizing the Album I’m currently working on.

DMR: What can we expect from you in the future?

Isa: What’s next shortly is to finish my debut album and release several singles that will be picked from the album itself.

DMR: Is there anything you would want to say to your fans?

Isa: Keep enjoying any variety of life and keep on sharing peace, love, and understanding vibration in all aspects.
