A1 DA DAWG

When and where were you born?

11/22/1987. Shreveport Louisiana

What’s your full name?

Corderol Quintrez Myles

Where did you get the name from?

Mom named me. It means Lamb & Shepherd (AKA Leader)
Spanish: from cordero ‘young lamb’ (Latin cordarius, a derivative of cordus ‘young’, ‘new’), hence a metonymic occupational name for a shepherd, or alternatively a nickname meaning ‘lamb’

What was your childhood like?

Rough and hard, Mom was a struggling single mother of 4 working mostly worked nights to provide for us the best way she could. So a lot of the time she wasn’t home because she was working. She raised us to fear God, be respectful, love each other and she taught us discipline. Even when she wasn’t home we knew right from wrong. Because it was instilled in us. I come from a family that is very close to each other. My dad wasn’t around much. So I really didn’t have a relationship with him. Therefore I couldn’t miss what I never had.

How many brothers and sisters do you have and how were you parental history?

As far as my mom. I have one sister & two brothers. Now as far as my dad so many I can’t count, poppa was a rolling stone.

What made you start doing industry things and when did you start?

Music has been my life, I started music 17 years ago I was really young. Just started taking it seriously. It was an outlet for me. A way for me to deal with life situations. A way for me to express myself & be heard, a way for me to deal with not having a full-time father around, a way for me to be me.

Who were your greatest influences in the industry growing up and who influences you now?

Cash money and No limit, Rick Ross & Drake influence me now

What are your greatest goals?

To become a mogul and set the foundation for my family.

What’s to be expected of you in the future?

You can expect a man that’s willing to work hard super hard to achieve a goal which is to become one of the best to ever do it. You can expect someone that’s a go-getter, self-motivated, dedicated, loyal & hard working. I’m a versatile artist. Someone that’s serious & committed to my craft. You can expect something different from the norm.

What big shows have you had if any and have you ever opened up for any headliners, if so, who?

Haven’t opened up for anyone but have had a lot of shows.

What makes you different from other artists?

My style is unique. I like to have meaning around my music, not to just do a song, just to say I did a song. I want my fans to be able to have a visual when they hear my music. People like listening to music they can relate to. And my goal is to deliver just that.
