Q: Tell us something about your music.

A: What I like to do with my music is sort of grab inspirations from several artists from the early 90’s till now and experiment with it until I feel like I successfully created what was in my head since first coming up with the idea.

Q: What kind of music genre do you represent?

A: I like to experiment with several genres like synthwave, trap, future bass, dubstep, techno, and pop when I have the access to singers/songwriters, but House is where it’s at for me. House is what my mom raised me and it’s where my heart is.

Q: Which artists inspire you’re the most?

A: It sounds basic when I say this because almost everyone says “Daft punk, Deadmau5, Avicii, Tiesto”, but they are who inspired me to seek out more of the EDM vibe. As more modern artists though, I would have to say Malaa, Tchami, Habstrakt, and Matroda all the way.

Q: Where do you originally hail from and where are you based now?

A: I’m originally from a small country in South America called Ecuador. Came to the U.S. around 4 years old, lived in good ole Queens, NYC until I joined the military when I was 18. After that, I’ve been to sunny San Diego, California.

Q: What influences got you into making music professionally?

A: I started out watching my cousin DJ at parties and that got me interested in learning, after that, the more I explored all the different types of sounds out there, and watching tutorials of music production on youtube really made me want to create my own experience in the music world.

Q: How would you describe your soundscape, music, and arrangement styles?

A: I would describe my music as a big experiment of what I can make with what I have. I have several Vst’s and instruments in my make-shift studio but whenever I start a project, I try to put myself in the mindset of “Can I dance to this? Will this make me feel something? If I heard this at a club would I want to search for this song??”

Q: Do music videos hold any importance in the creative enhancement of music?

A: Music videos currently don’t hold much of an importance in my music, but recently I made some contact with a small studio that reached out to me about collaborating with one of my unreleased tracks, and who knows what can happen?

Q: Do you have any upcoming plans for new content?

A: My upcoming plans for new content is figuring out how to properly make videos that can tell a story, and finding a bunch of memes.. Everybody loooooves memes haha!

Q: Do you have any notes or suggestions to give to an upcoming lot of musicians?

A: If I could suggest to give it their all and follow their passions. Not everyone has the same opportunities to do this and make something great out of it!
