Daily Music Roll: Hi Rachel Wang, how are you? How are you treating yourself amidst the chaos all around the world?

Rachel Wang: Hey! I’m doing good. Throughout the chaos and darkness in the world it’s honestly hard to treat myself good but I’m trying to, haha!

Daily Music Roll: It is very hard to keep your mind straight when you are constantly worried about your well-being. Although, we should keep it aside for a while and enjoy talking about your new music release. Your fans are engrossed with the new pop and alternative numbers on ‘SAVE US B4 IT’S TOO L8’. How are you feeling with such a pleasing response on Spotify?

Rachel Wang: I feel really amazed and happy about how my fans are reacting to the album. It’s cool to know that people are in love with it.

Daily Music Roll: Why did you choose such a disconsolate name as ‘SAVE US B4 IT’S TOO L8’ for your avant-garde record?

Rachel Wangchose the name “ SAVE US B4 IT’s TOO L8” because I wanted to portray a say that it’s a okay to not be okay you know what I mean. It’s okay to struggle it’s okay to cry.

Daily Music Roll: What has inspired you to write these songs?

Rachel Wang: My struggles and when I felt like the world was ending I was just really low in my life and that influenced me to wanting to write these songs.

Daily Music Roll: When I heard the songs, I could resonate with every word you sang on this record. Was it easy for you to layer it up with your personal perceptions? It was really unusual for a young artist to come out so honest with her music.

Rachel Wang: Honestly, personal perceptions could be hard but I just think with the work you put in you’ll get it and that’s how I did it.

Daily Music Roll: Do you think the shades of divulgence in each song will have an impact on the audience?

Rachel Wang: Well, I feel like being honest about myself helps me and my fans closer on a different level if that makes sense.

Daily Music Roll: What is your aspiration and how are you heading towards it?

Rachel Wang: My aspiration would be to try to help people understand that it’s okay to be sad in this chaotic world. It’s okay to feel alone but know that you aren’t alone.

Daily Music Roll: If you had to pick one, which song from the album would you choose as your favorite?

Rachel Wang: My favorite song from the album would be Angel Of Death.

Daily Music Roll: When is the first time you started writing songs?

Rachel Wang: The first time I started writing was around 12.

Daily Music Roll: You are a rare and versatile singer from California. How did the people in the music industry have helped you to understand your dreams?

Rachel Wang: The people in the music industry have helped me understand my dreams by telling me that it’s okay to fail at times. But to keep going and keep trying.

Daily Music Roll: Who was your muse to make music?

Rachel Wang: My muse to make music would be Tate McRae.

Rachel Wang: No, only singles for now, haha!
