  • What inspired you to create such music?

I’m inspired by the greats and the work they’ve done. I’m just trying to leave my mark and keep the hip-hop culture moving forward.

  • What has been the most magical moment from your musical journey?

I remember when I first started making beats I would worry about not being able to make more beats and songs but over time I learned that it’ll come on its own. Constantly creating material and loving the end result is as magical as it gets.

  • How do you wish to pen down your experience so far?

My experience so far has been a roller coaster ride, but I’m excited about the future. At one point I was actually considering quitting music all together a couple of years ago, but quitting didn’t sit well with me because deep down I love making music.

  • Are you working on any new project?

Yes, I’m working on a new project right now and when it’s finished I would love for you guys to hear it before it’s an official release. I noticed while working on Shock Combat I had a sound that didn’t fit that particular project and it needed to be on its own project. Coming off Shock Combat and how well it was received by different people and blogs I wanted to keep the momentum going with something fresh, but still has good production and lyrics.

  • Whom do you look forward to your inspiration?

I find inspiration in a lot of different things. Some of my inspiration comes from listening to classic albums, paintings, documentaries, or just in simple everyday conversation. I listened to Volume 1 by Jay-Z, Diary of a Mad Band by Jodeci, Michael Jackson’s Off  The Wall just to name a few the albums I consider classic.

  • What is your take on the current pandemic situation, and what would you like to tell your audience?

It’s a very scary situation and although those in the medical field and others are doing all they can to help, people are dying constantly every day. It’s something I don’t think anyone expected to happen. This is the first time in my lifetime that the world is connecting to the same exact problem. I’m praying for the world and just knowing that we’re all in this situation together is what helps as we wait for better days to come.

  • Tell us something about your latest project ‘Shock Combat Hd’.

Shock Combat HD is the deluxe version of my project Shock Combat. This project has additional songs, freestyles, and new mixes to a couple of tracks. I think there is something for everyone on the project. I could have made a small project with the extra songs, but I felt they would give the project a good touch.

  • Whom do you consider as your biggest competition in the industry?

I would say my biggest competition is myself. When you start paying attention to someone else you lose focus of “the race” you’re running and that’s never good for your growth.

  • Do you have any plans to go live in the future?

Yes, my team and I have been working on some things to get more people involved and reaching out to them a little more. Once things get on track we can move forward with some of their ideas.

  • What is the story behind your latest project?

The story behind Shock Combat is to create an experience that was gonna be unexpected and good. So I held myself to a high standard to put my best foot forward and make a dope project.

  • Is there anything you would like to suggest or tell your fans?

Thanks for taking time out of your day to listen to my music, it means the world to me.

  • Why did you choose hip-hop and not any other genre?

I would like to think that hip hop chose me. I really love R&B, but vocally I don’t have it. Maybe I should get vocal lessons. On a serious note, I love hip hop and I think it’s the only genre that embodies multiple genres and that’s what makes it special.
