The hip-hop drama between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj is quite popular yet she has her fair share of issues
with several of her contemporaries, including 6ix9ine. The years-long speculation about the ‘Gooba’
artist naming Cardi B as one of the members of the Nine Trey Bloods finally gets an answer. During that
time 6ix9ine was working as a police informant. Hence, Cardi B’s team has taken the initiative to shut
down these rumors and false allegations about her. Even then, 6ix9ine has been known to toss gloom at
his fellow New Yorker in more recent years.
In February 2021, the embattled star publicly dissed Cardi. Back then he was dating his former girlfriend,
Jade, and the feud between them become more intense afterward. But during his recent interview with
the Alofoke Radio Show, 6ix9ine told that his last relationship is what has potentially caused him a major
wedge between him and Cardi. This intensely controversial artist is now spending a lot of time together
with Yailin Hablan, and she was sitting just by his side during this interview. The entire conversation is
recorded in Spanish but the passion and the humor of the room shine through. 6ix9ine’s new girl has
confirmed that they are a supporter of Cardi B now.
The feud first started in 2018 when Tekashi 6ix9ine testified against Cardi B stating that she spends a lot
of time with and around the notorious Blood gang during her teenage days. Back then in her defense,
she said, "When I was 16 years old, I used to hang out with a lot of Bloods,”, as she spends most of her
time growing up in and around the Bronx. During this, she also clarified and said, “I used to pop off with
my homies. / And they’d say, ‘Yo, you really get it’. You should come home. You should turn
Blood. / And I did. Yes, I did. And something that — it’s not like, oh, you leave. You don’t leave.”
On the other hand, Tekashi 6ix9ine has pleaded guilty to nine felony charges and admitted to being one
of the members of the Nine Trey. As he took the plea deal in January 2019 he has to name his fellow
gang members and receive a more lenient sentence to serve for his co-operation. The media is still
waiting for Cardi B’s reaction to this new development.
