Adele won the U.K’s leading music awards. The artist won two awards for her song ‘Easy On Me’ and took the ‘Album of the Year’ award for her album ‘30’.

Adele made a comeback with her live performance at BRIT Awards 2022 after postponing her last month show. The artist won three awards for her song ‘Easy On Me’ and the album ‘30’. The song won ‘Artist of the Year’, ‘Album of the Year’, and ‘Song of the Year’.
The diva born in London bagged the most prestigious awards of this year.
The artist dedicated the award to her latest album ‘30’ which is about the breakup of her marriage. This album is a portrait of her whole journey.
This album marks her third ‘Album of the Year’. Before this, she won for her previous albums ‘21’ and ‘25’. She is the first solo artist who achieved this award three times.
She showed her gratitude by saying, ‘First of all I didn’t know that many songs were nominated for song of the year. I can’t believe that a piano ballad won up against that many bangers. But thank you so much. It is always a pleasure to be here. I always love coming home and the Brits are such a big part of my career since way back when I was a little foetus.’
After that, the artist delighted his fans with her splendid performance ‘I Drink Wine’ in her hometown at the O2 Arena of London. She has enriched the show with her profound performance.
Adele even said about her album, ‘I’m very proud of myself for sticking to my guns and putting out an album that was about something so personal to me,’ said the 12-time BRIT winner, ‘Cause not many people do stuff like that anymore’.
BRIT is one of the few awards that haven’t been canceled in the past two years due to Covid and continued its legacy.
In this year BRIT’s have shaken up the range of the music genre. Slowly they are introducing and embracing more genres in the award, like hip-hop. Because it is a genre that also contributes a lot to the music industry. This year the ceremony included performances of U.K.’s popular two rappers, Little Simz and Dave, who have won two awards too.
But over everything, Adele shined brighter than anyone with his amazing performance and by winning the three awards.
