Anitta Became the First Brazilian Artist to Perform on SNL

The Brazilian music artist, Anitta, gave an inaugural performance on the Saturday Night Live on the Coleman Domingo-hosted episode. Her performance has created a massive sensation among everyone. Anitta sang two songs from her forthcoming music album, named ‘Equilibrium’, which is going to be released on 16^th April on Republic Records.

It is the very first time a Brazilian music guest appeared on SNL. As she appeared and performed at the SNL, all her fans were both shocked and amazed. Anitta started her performance with the song ‘Choka Choka’. Her stage presence was truly captivating. She was seen barefoot and dressed in a sporty brown number while performing on the stage. The choreography of her performance was truly spectacular and the highlight of the night.

Along with her brilliant performance, it is her effortless voice that has captivated the audiences even more. In this song, the Latin-pop queen, Shakira, has also been featured. But in this SNL performance, she wasn’t seen. However, it can be said that Anitta has compensated for Shakira’s absence with her magnificent performance.

Right after giving one performance, Anitta came back once again for another performance, ‘VáriasQuejas’. For this specific act, she was seen in a flapper-ishlilac colored dress. It was quite a brilliant act, as she was seen standing on the stage covered in vines and flowers. After that, she started performing in a soft and smooth Spanish voice.

Anitta might be the first Brazilian artist to perform on the stage of SNL. But there were many Spanish-speaking artists who appeared on the show before. The very first Latino music artist was the Cuban-American musician and actor, Desi Arnaz, who came in the inaugural season in the year 1976. Other than that, recently, Bad Bunny hosted and performed on the show, which was also quite fascinating.
