Billie Eilish revealed that she feels “embarrassed” being in the recording studios. In a recent interview, she said that studios make her feel “stupid”.
The pop star, Billie Eilish, who has become popular due to her successful albums like ‘Happier than Ever’, ‘When we Fall Asleep, Where Do You Go’ and others hates being in the recording studios. She received love, honor, and admiration from different parts of the world for her successful music career. She has recently shared that she feels “embarrassed” when she uses a studio to record her songs as she looks “stupid” when she bumps into others singers and artists.
“I don’t like studios. I don’t like sessions. I don’t like (that) there’s a runner and he asks you what kind of food you want at so-and-so and he asks you if you want a LaCroix”, She said.
She further added, “ really have never liked the vibe of studios. There are no windows. It smells like weed. There are other artists there you bump into them, you look stupid.”
Talking about her experience while recording her songs in the studio she said, “you’re embarrassed that they saw you when you looked stupid. I don’t know, it freaks me out. It truly gives me social anxiety.”
Billie Eilish often collaborates with her producer and brother FINNEAS explained that she has “no idea” what she will have to face in her career, but she does not like to work in a closed studio and with her brother, as he is a “workaholic” and “annoying”.
“FINNEAS can work any time. The dude doesn’t get a break within himself, he doesn’t need it. For me, I go through phases of feeling really creative and actually getting stuff done, and then going through phases of nothing at all, musically,” She said.
In an interview with Zen Lowe, she also added, “would you ever do this and that”, because we all as people feel like we’re all going to be the same thing always, forever, and it’s just not realistic.”
Sharing her experience in working with various artists, music composers, and producers, Eilish made a direct comparison with her brother, and said, “I did work with a lot of people for a couple of years, and I just really didn’t enjoy it, honestly. I just don’t. FINNEAS is so annoying.”
Well, this comes as shocking news for her fans as their favorite singer does not like the recording studios where she creates such impressive albums.
