The wait is finally over! The nomination for the MTV Video Music Award has been disclosed to the audience who has been waiting for the nominations for so long. There are several Korean Pop artists appeared on the nomination list and left the fans highly excited and anticipating the winner. On the 6th of September, VMAs revealed the news through their official social media platform, consists that BLACKPINK and TXT were the two who made it to the finals. This news left plenty of fans heartbroken as Seventeen, NewJeans, and FIFTY FIFTY got out of the competition.
BLACKPINK and TXT have managed to secure their positions in the finals battling for the title ‘Group of the Year’ at the 2023 Video Music Awards at MTV’s. However, BLACKPINK garnered a vast number of nominations and became the one with the most votes this year. The band was nominated for a total of six awards. In the meantime, TXT was nominated for four different awards.
BLACKPINK has created a buzz around the world and captivated all the attention of music enthusiasts. The group of girl has destroyed previous records with their music videos. The band has concreted its name for having colossal talents and gathered millions of fans worldwide. The band has been referred to as the ‘biggest girl group in the world’. TXT, on the other hand, is also renowned as a compatible and firmly growing K-Pop band that already attracted the interests of millions as well and considerably competes strongly with the BLACKPINK. TXT manages to stand out in the crowd because of its concept and proficiency in music.
35 artists got to be in the nominations for the first time. GloRilla, Ice Spice, Flo Milli, and Peso Pluma made the nominations. The VMA will go live on air on 12th September at 8 p.m. ET. Information says that TXT and Stray Kids will put the stage on fire with their magical performances at the award function.
