Jungkook from BTS came to the Seoul premiere of the brand new comedy flick “First Ride,” and he created a huge buzz by bringing someone else along with him. While he is best known for his outfits, this time he surprised the fans by bringing a full-sized doll of actor and singer Cha Eun-woo.

Jungkook made sure to attend the VIP screening, which took place at Lotte Cinema World Tower in Seoul. Bringing a life-sized doll that follows the exact dressing sense of his close friend Cha Eun-woo of ASTRO seemed like a perfect plan to increase the buzz. The actor is currently serving in the military for the mandatory training, which is required by everyone in South Korea. His active duty for him started on July 28.

BTS member Jungkook lifted the hand of the doll playfully, and it seemed as if the actor was waving at the camera itself. He was also hugging the doll in front of the photo wall. The fans and the journalists are surprised and delighted by the heartwarming gesture of the singer. This intimate display of friendship became a viral topic on social media.

Jungkook also said to reporters, “When Eun-woo and I were in our early twenties, we used to hang out a lot. He said he filmed this movie thinking about those days. I’ll try to enjoy it with that same feeling.” He also added a warm message for his friend, “I hope he stays healthy and completes his service safely.”

Cha Eun-woo’s military hiatus is currently ongoing, but he is still able to stand out with projects like “First Ride” as well as the upcoming work on Netflix, “The Wonderfuls.” Both of the projects are filmed and scheduled to be released during this time period, while he will be training in the military. The date of discharge from his military training is set to be Jan. 27, 2027.

“First Ride” is directed by Nam Dae-joong, and it is all set to hit the theaters in South Korea on Oct. 29. This film follows a group of friends, namely Tae-jung, Do-jin, Yeon-min, Geum-bok, and Ok-shim, who embark on an overseas trip for the first time in their lives. The character of Yeon-min is played by Cha Eun-woo, and the film has already created a huge anticipation among the fans.

Jungkook, on the other hand, has already finished his training in the military, which ended on June 11. Jungkook and Cha belong to the “’97 line,” which is a lineup of all the South Korean artists who were born in 1997. This lineup also includes Yugyeom from GOT7 and Mingyu from SEVENTEEN.
