BTS Member J-Hope Is All Set To Release His Solo Single, ‘More’ This Week

The popular K-Pop boy band had recently announced that the group will go on a hiatus so that the members can pursue their solo music careers. It looks like J-Hope is the first band member to drop his solo work as a part of his upcoming album, ‘Jack In The Box’.

On June 27th, the band’s and the artist’s music label Big Hit Music announced that J-Hope will be releasing a solo track, ‘More’ On Friday, July 1st at 1 pm KST. The record label announced the news about the album over the weekend through their official social media platforms.

The upcoming album, ‘Jack In The Box’ will be released on July 15. A lot of concept photos for the impending album have already been posted online by the agency. All of them feature J-Hope in the dark in smoky makeup and a black jester’s hat.

J-hope had been interviewed by the Weverse Magazine recently where he opened up about the state of mind of the band members while they were preparing for their 2022 Grammy performance in April. He explained that the members were at the point of mental breakdown due to the massive pressure.

The prolific artist co-wrote his most famous song, ‘Everybody Plays The Fool’ with Rudy Clark and J.R. Bailey. Before he rose to fame as a songwriter, he was in the US Air Force group called Chuck-A-Lucks. After he served in the Air Force, he settled in New York City and started pursuing his musical dreams.

Not long after he moved to the city he began working with Peaches & Herb. He wrote many hit songs for them such as ‘Love Is Strange’, ‘Two Little Kids’, ‘For Yous Love’, ‘We’ve Got To Love One Another’, and more.

He is survived by his wife Mary Seymour Williams who was a popular Broadway actress and singer, a daughter Cheryl Nicholson, sons Kenny Williams Jr., Kevin D. Williams, and Kalvin Williams, and a stepson Kenny J. Seymour.

South Korean news outlet Sports World revealed that the Korean-American star had left the SNS web talk show ‘Showterview’ as its host. They also reported that former Wonder Girls member and solo artist Sunmi will replace her as the host of the show.

Recently the singer-rapper has revealed that she was not even aware of the fact that she will be replaced as the host of the talk show, ‘Showterview’ during an Instagram Live. She said that she found out a day before when a fan told her about it.

She said that she took a break and it was not finalized whether she was coming back to the show. She had no idea that she had already been replaced by none other than her friend Sunmi.

The last two editions of the festival of 2020 and 2021 had been canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. After the event came to an end, the organizers shared a short statement about the festival on their Instagram account.

Emily Elvis, the co-organizer of the festival posted photos of performers Diana Ross, Pet Shop Boys, and Kendrick Lamar on her Instagram post. She wrote that Sunday rounded off an amazing weekend. She thanked everyone who came and made the festival special. She even said that it was surely the best one so far.

She also shared her excitement online when the festival finally opened on June 22nd after the last two editions were canceled.
