Cardi B Just Shared the Music Video for “Imaginary Playerz” with New Jay-Z Sampling

Rap queen Cardi B has come up with her highly anticipated track “Imaginary Playerz” and it is currently buzzing among all fans. This song appears on her upcoming single ‘Am I the Drama?’ and it includes Jay-Z’s OG sample. Cardi B has also confirmed the fact that he accepted this song and homage.

The rapper shared in a post on social media, “If he didn’t approve it, I probably wouldn’t even feel a certain type of way neither, because it’s like, ‘OK, maybe I just had to come a little bit harder,’” and further added, “But I’m glad that I came hard and he loved it.”

The music production for the latest track has been handled by OctaneThisThatGas, DJ SwanQo, and lastly, Sean Island. The direction for the music video is taken care of by the rapper herself, along with Patientce Foster. The official music video for the track “Imaginary Playerz” offers a highly swanky representation of creating a hip-hop empire.

The upcoming album project ‘Am I the Drama?’ is highly anticipated among the fans as it is the second studio album by the rapper, and the sophomore project is set to be released on September 19. This album will also include the previously released songs that became instant hits, such as “WAP”, “Outside”, and “Up”.

Cardi B launched her career with the success of her first album ‘Invasion of Privacy,’ which was released back in 2018, and it took much time for her second album project. However, the time taken is well-utilized for the development of this album, and that reflects through each song.

The latest rendition of “Imaginary Playerz” is quite a creative project that offers the female perspective of Hov’s iconic bars from the original track in 1997. The music video also showcases Cardi B’s unwavering personality and fashion sense with some of the most luxurious outfits.

It seems like she is taking a world tour as she flies from New York City and then reaches a yacht in Mykonos, Greece. Lastly, she reaches Paris in France and while spitting the bars like “I’m the one who showed these girls what fashion could be.” There is no doubt that Cardi is reclaiming her place in the industry while showcasing an ultra-luxurious display of her success. She is the mother of three and the rap queen of the industry!

‘Am I The Drama?’ is going to be the most contagious hip-hop album with a total of 23 tracks.
