Hip hop music admirers have to wait a little longer for Drake’s upcoming album. He shares a teaser with a recreation of his old albums and mixtapes. Certified Lover Boy, his next album will be releasing in January 2021. Though the ‘Mia’ rapper hasn’t revealed any particular date for the release, though the teaser dropped on Sunday, October 25th shows that it’s at hand.

The clip was interesting as it began with a recording of a kid standing in a field, staring and going toward a lone light as red confetti starts to fall that has an apparent resemblance to the cover of Drake’s 2009 breakthrough mixtape, So Far Gone.

He doesn’t stop there; he follows up some old ideas to recreate some of his famous old albums and mixtape covers that include Take Care, Nothing Was the Same, and Dark Lane Demo Tapes. The video’s end shot was of the Certified Lover Boy logo that was hanging onto the circular roof of a large building.

Drake gave the first hint about the making of Certified Lover Boy back in August. He released the track titled “Laugh Now Cry Later,” featuring Lil Durk. It will be his sixth studio album and first proper studio effort after Scorpion’s success. In April, he made a humongous hit track “Toosie Slide,” which was nominated for Video Music Awards. His Dark Lane Demo Tapes was released in May after Scorpion came out in 2018.

He made the announcement of the upcoming release on Drake’s 34th birthday with a short teaser clip.
