After the racketeering charges last month, Young Thug has finally diced to proceed with his musical journey and Dua Lipa is being part too. These two music artists are teaming up with Calvin Harris for their latest single ‘Potion’.

This single is appearing in Calvin’s upcoming album titled, ‘Funk Wav. Bounces Vol 2’. The first volume of this album, ‘Funk Wav. Bounces Vol 1’ was released back in 2017.

In the latest interview with Apple Music 1, Calvin spoke about his upcoming LP and expressed his vision behind it. He said that does not want the original essence to be mixed perfectly with the layers and grit. He is embracing imperfection and his individuality.

I agree with the music artist and believe that the latest composition can captivate global listeners just like his previous tracks.

Calvin Harris has previously worked with Dua Lipa for the single ‘One Kiss’ which garnered much attention from his fans. On the other hand, his earlier work with Young Thug was the single ‘Heatstroke’ that featured Ariana Grande and Pharrell as well.

Earlier this year, this talented Scottish DJ collaborated with Riva Starr, Love Regenerator, and Sananda Maitreya for the chart-busting single ‘Lonely’ which was released in January.

In 2020, Harris worked with The Weeknd and created the masterpiece ‘Over Now’ which has garnered over 23 million views on YouTube.

This year is going to be quite successful for Dua Lipa as well since that artist has already dropped a new single in this march, titled ‘Sweetest Pie’ that featured Megan Thee Stallion. Dave Meyers has directed the official music video.

Kanye West and XXXTentacion’s highly anticipated collaboration ‘True Love’ gets an official release

Kanye West has featured the highly anticipated collaboration between him and the late XXXTentacion on his latest album ‘Donda 2’. The track is titled ‘True Love’, currently available on Stem Player along with the other unreleased singles from the album.

The single also appears on the posthumous album of XXXTentacion, named ‘Look at Me: The Album’.

On the singles’ cover art the listeners can see written notes which are taken from a journal of the late rapper. XXXTentacion’s mother found it and Kanye scanned the notes in order to design the cover art. Released under Columbia Records, the single is currently buzzing in the industry.

A documentary film is being made focusing on the killing of 20-years-old rapper XXXTentacion where the track ‘True Love’ will be played along with the end credits. The documentary is titled ‘Look at Me: XXXTentacion’.

‘Donda 2’ is being released in March exclusively through Stem Player. The album was premiered by West at a Miami event on February 22 of this year.

The album is billed as V2.22.22 Miami which is the same version that featured the collaboration with the late rapper for the track ‘Selfish’. Ineligible for Billboard charts, this track is only available to those who have opted for the $200 dollar player.

‘True Love’ will be released via Columbia records associated with Donda 2. Prior to that, Fivio Foreign’s ‘City of Gods’ will be released too where Alicia Keys and Kanye West have joined forces.

Previously, Kanye got involved in an issue of the music video of the track ‘Eazy’, appearing in Donda 2 as well. The issue occurred as in the video, animated Kanye West could be seen kidnapping and burring Pete Davidson. The alarming music video made a big notch on West’s musical journey.

Not to mention, Kim Kardashian started dating Pete Davidson after separating from Kanye. As a result, the video depicted the murderous intent of the rapper against Pete. However, West is currently seeking professional help for having therapy sessions to move on.

Recently, West has dropped a music video for his earlier leaked single ‘Life of the Party’ that is featured in the ‘Donda (Deluxe). In the video, the audience can witness the deep fakes of Kanye’s childhood.

The album ‘Donda’ has been released last year and West has continued to release the music videos of the appearing tracks, such as the ‘Hurricane’. This single features Lil Baby and The Weeknd and also won the Grammy award for Best Melodic Rap Performance in 2022.

He also won the award for Best Rap Song for his collaboration with Jay-Z, named ‘Jail’. However, the rapper was uninvited due to concerning online behavior. Similar happened at Coachella Music Festival but The Weeknd came in his place and performed the track ‘Hurricane’.
