Yesterday, on 7th August, Travis Scott just performed his first Utopia concert at, the public park that was once the largest chariot-racing track in the Roman Empire, Circus Maximus of Rome. He opened the show with three back-to-back songs from Utopia. Apparently, he was about to perform most of his album in one go but he resisted after performing three of them. Yet the Utopian interruption was more enjoyable as he performed highly engaging tracks like ‘Highest in the Room’ and ‘Butterfly Effect’ from his music catalog.

He was wearing shoulder pads and jumped atop a fake rock formation on a set. The fake rock formation was in front of another unique-looking piece which appeared to be countless giant amps and speakers. The crowd for the show was massive and the entire nation could hear the singing choruses.

Soon, Kanye West joined Scott and they deviated from the album’s playlist and performed tracks like ‘Can’t Tell Me Nothing’. And this is the time Scott announced, “There is no Utopia without Kanye West. There is no Travis Scott without Kanye West. There is no Rome without Kanye West. Make some noise for Ye.”

Later that night, he performed his Weeknd and Bad Bunny-featuring single ‘K-Pop’, followed by his Beyoncé and Justin Vernon-featuring single ‘Delresto (Echoes)’. Yet, Scott wasn’t on stage when the DJ played ‘Delresto’ on returning during the very end of the song and he resumed performing his ‘Lost Forever’ for the crowd, and everyone went crazy over this charming musical transition.

At this time he offered another Utopia release, ‘Mafia’, the song was released in 2021 just before the Astroworld tragedy. Following this number he performed ‘I Know’, and he said that this is one of the last songs he has recorded for this project. After this he performed ‘Meltdown’ and right after that he started his Drake featured number ‘Sicko Mode’ followed by ‘Antidote’ and ‘Goosebumps’. He closed the set with his ‘Telekinesis’; the song was performed from the backseat of his car, making his final adieu to the crowd.
