Going to music concerts will require negative test reports to avoid any more shutdowns and spread. The requirement will be implemented from 4th October.

ICON Music Center, Taft theater, Riverbend Music Center, PNC Pavilion, and all the venues for concerts will require a proof vaccination and a negative report of the COVID -19 test for all the concerts and gigs that are taking place in October.

The company, Music & Event Management, Inc. said that the decision is being taken to confirm no spread and protect the people are who are going to the concerts whether music lovers or tourists.

Here are some of the things that the concert-goers need to know,

Firstly, all the visitors should be fully vaccinated and taken proper precautions against COVID-19. The final dose should be taken at least two weeks before the entry.  They have to show the proof of vaccination with a vaccination card with a proper ID matching the name on documentation whether the original card or a printout.

Secondly, the people who are still not vaccinated or waiting for the dose will have to go through the COVID-19 test 48 hours before starting the event. The negative result’s report should be provided to the security to get a secure entry. This goes for the concert-goers who are younger than 12 years as well.

Thirdly, the fans who are over 12 years will have to provide a valid medical restriction & medical note to take a Covid diagnostic test 48 hours before the event.

The ticket holders are being encouraged by the management to check out the venue websites and the parameters before going to any event.

The company also said that all the updates or changes to entry requirements will be at the artist’s discretion for the shows happening before 4th October. This means that for now, the artists are free to choose whether they want their fans to be fully vaccinated before attending their show.

The marketing director of Music and Event Management Inc., Rosemarie Moehring said, “We don’t ever want to see the entertainment music industry close down again.”

Music and Event Management has joined forces with Anschutz Entertainment Group and Live Nation for this vital decision as to the new delta variant is already confirming some cases across the United States.

Moehring also said that in case of not being able to attend it because of the test, they can request a refund from Ticketmaster 72 hours before the show.
