Young female pop artist Olivia Rodrigo is becoming a role model to everyone, as the artist has just announced an all-women music festival, a charity event of empowerment.

Pop star Olivia Rodrigo has become a profound musical talent who also advocates for feminism and women’s empowerment. This time, she is launching an All Women Music Concert, a charity concert to support women in need. Monday, on June 22, the singer cum actress announced that KATSEYE, Doechii, Chappell Roan, and many other powerful female music artists will be performing at the special event by Rodrigo.

The artist has shared the event poster where the participating artists are showcased, and the excitement is sky-high right now. She declared about her very own Daisy Chain Fields festival, which is taking place for the first time this year. It is scheduled on August 29, and the venue is set to be Irvine, California.

Olivia said, truly never felt more excited to share a piece of news with you all,” on Instagram and further added, “i’ve had a dream of doing this festival for years and i am so ecstatic its finally coming true!!” Talking about the mission of this music fest, she added, “Daisy Chain Fields features an all-women lineup and 100 percent of the net proceeds will go to charities dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls.”

Expressing further, she added, “thelineup is truly insane and full of my heroes and friends. i firmly believe that joy, community, and music can be the drivers of meaningful change and I’m hopeful this festival will be just that.” Rodrigo is not just hosting at the festival as she will also be performing there alongside a long list of artists, including Mitski, Not for Radio, Bikini Kill, Garbage, Eli, Die Spitz, Rachel Chinouriri, Stantigold, Quiet Life, and The Breeders. Stevie Nicks will also perform at the festival as one of the three ‘Special Guests’. The other two people are Karen O and Sarah McLachlan.

According to the official press release, the earnings from Daisy Chain Fields festival will benefit several organizations that cater to women’s health, safety, and well-being. The list includes Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Baby2Baby, FreeFrom, Jhpiego, Center for Reproductive Rights, National Domestic Worker Alliance, Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health, National Women’s Law Center, and Planned Parenthood. This is one of the greatest initiatives that the industry has witnessed, which is purely made for women and based on women.

Rodrigo said in a statement, “By bringing together women in music and organizations helping shape a better future for women and girls, I hope we can build a community that inspires hope and positive change,” and her noble vision is evident to everyone. The ticket sales are going live on June 24, and the fans are eagerly waiting for it.
