The American Music Awards 2026 will feature a dynamic list of performers, including Oscar nominee Teyana Taylor, as well as Twenty One Pilots.

The American Music Awards 2026 will be held on Memorial Day, May 25 of this year, and the event will start at 8 p.m. ET. The event will be aired live on Paramount+ and CBS. Last year, the venue was set in Las Vegas, and this year also, AMA will take place in Sin City; however, the venue for 2026 is set at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
When it comes to the list of performers, it has been revealed that Oscar nominee Teyana Taylor is all set to perform at the event, and the artist will be performing songs from her latest album, ‘Escape Room’. The organizers for the event have extended the performer list as they are including a special anniversary performance by Hootie & the Blowfish, as they are celebrating 30 years of their winning AMA for the category of Best Pop/Rock New Artist.

The star-studded stage will also witness the performances by Maluma, Keith Urban, Teddy Swims, Riley Green, Sombr, and last but not least, everyone’s favorite Twenty One Pilots. The anticipation for the upcoming performances is quite high among the fans right now. Previously, KATSEYE was announced as the first performing group at the event. The latest music video by the girl group, ‘Pinky Up’, shows their new lineup that excludes Manon Bannerman, who is currently on hiatus from the group.
This year’s American Music Awards will be hosted by Queen Latifah, who has previously done the job in 1995 and 2026 marks her second time. The nomination list for this year was already announced on April 14, and it showed that Taylor Swift is at the top of the list with a total of eight nominations. Other artists like Olivia Dean, Sombr, Sabrina Carpenter, and country singer Morgan Wallen are sharing the second spot with seven nominations in total.
The best feature of the American Music Awards is that the judges for each category are none but the fans, and since they are chosen by the general public, there is no bias. The voting portal was open from April 14 until May 8, since April 14, the day the nomination list was announced. Now all that remains is to witness what the public has chosen for each category. Stay tuned to find out more!
