The World Famous US Rock Band Aerosmith Has Announced Its Farewell Tour

The US rock and roll band, worldwide known as Aerosmith has announced the end of their journey with a farewell tour after more than five decades together.

One of America’s “Greatest Rock and Roll Band” Aerosmith has announced that their journey is coming to an end. The band has recently announced its farewell tour by uploading a heart-breaking video of the news on Monday. The shattering news came with the star-loaded video that featured legends like Sir Ringo Starr, Dolly Parton, and infamous rap artist Eminem. In a joint statement, they declared, “It’s not goodbye it’s peace out!” Talking about the excitement regarding the band’s farewell tour, the members said, “Get ready and walk this way, you’re going to get the best show of our lives.”

 The tour is scheduled for 40 dates and will run shows in North America. It will begin in Philadelphia on 2 September 2023 and will end its run on 26 January 2024 in Montreal. The last show in America will be a New Year’s Eve performance in their hometown, Boston. Infamously referred to as the “The Bad Boys from Boston”, Aerosmith’s last ever tour is planned perfectly for where they will end their journey from where they started. All the dates of the farewell tour are set for America with no dates for Europe or UK has been scheduled yet making the European fans disappointed.

The members of the band are all in their 70s and are well known for establishing the fundamentals of rock music in the country. Aerosmith became widely popular in the mid 70’s for their ability to make everyone mesmerized and their capability of pulling off both rock and roll and ballad music. The band has given the music industry several hits, including songs like ‘Dream On’, ‘Walk This Way’ and ‘I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing’ which are still known as the greatest rock and roll tracks.

 Talking about the band’s decision to end this here, the 72 years old guitarist of Aerosmith, Joe Perry said, “I think it’s about time,” to the Associated Press. “It’s kind of a chance to celebrate the 50 years we’ve been out here. You never know how much longer everybody’s going to be healthy to do this”, he added. Last year, the band canceled their Las Vegas residency in the middle after the front man Steven Tyler checked himself into rehab. The 75 year old front man also has high expectations from the tour. In a recent statement to AP, he said, “We’re opening up Pandora’s Box one last time to present our fans with the Peace Out tour.”
