Hamas’s attack on Israel’s Music Festival Caused Deadly Chaos

The unprecedented attacks and sudden declaration of war by Hamas have caused a turbulent situation in Israel as the Nova music festival was attacked by terrorists.

The Tribe of Nova music festival was a symbol of celebration and night dance party that took place in a rural area situated at the Gaza-Israel border. Thousands of young folks join this festival in order to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. However, the situation went quite deadly this year with the unprecedented attack by Hamas.

Earlier this Saturday, the site of the festival in a desert area turned into a deadly pit with Hamas militants attacking the area and killing around 260 people. According to the media, news outlets, social media, and the Israeli rescue organizations; there were frantic attempts to hide or escape by the terrified concert-goers.

Zaka, the Israeli rescue service claimed that the paramedics have removed around 260 bodies from the festival area and the numbers can go higher as the team is still clearing the area. The organizers of the festival are also helping the security forces to locate the missing people who attended the festival.

 

This attack on the festival is a part of the larger assault by Hamas on Israel as the fighters have also fortified the border fence between the two regions and initiated an unprecedented surprise attack that started this weekend.

Several videos have been posted on social media where the deadly face of the attack was revealed and people could be seen running and hiding for their lives. The panicked festival-goers tried their best to escape while gunshots could be heard. Not everyone was able to make it and terrorists did not miss the chance to kill them.

An attendee of the festival, Shoam Gueta said that he had been running for his life with a group of 20 people and they all had to hide in the bushes for more than six hours in order to be safe. He was desperately asking people to stay silent as he saw people getting shot while they were taking cover. He also witnessed a woman being cut by a knife.

Gueta further said, “We saw terrorists killing people, burning cars, shouting everywhere. If you just say something, if you make any noise, you’ll be murdered.” The fear and the deadliness of the situation left everyone shaken, with an underlying message that more damage in coming on the way.

The Israel-Hamas conflict took a bigger turn with Israel ready for a counterattack. More than 1100 people are dead and thousands of citizens are injured on both sides.
