Diljit Dosanjh Flexes His Invitation Card to Met Gala 2025 as It’s His Debut

This is the first time for Diljit Dosanjh to get invited at Met Gala fashion event and where many celebrities can be found appearing in dynamic outfits like fashion mogul. While a lot of people and artists from the entertainment industry are invited here, this is first time for Dosanjh to receive it.

The singer of ‘Ik Kudi’ left no chance to show off this invite and he made sure to add some humor which can make his fans happy. The singer cum actor is currently in New York and preparing for this upcoming Gala event while expressing his feelings to the fans. This humble artist knows exactly how to resonate with the hyper Indian audiences and he made sure to connect with everyone with a relatable sense of humor rather than acting edgy.

While most other celebrities like to keep things a secret and appear at the event with a grand surprise, Diljit is more likely to share his thoughts and outfit with his fans. It seems like he is enjoying this trip very much and he is currently sharing frequent posts about his first experience.

The real dose of entertainment started when the singer shared a video on Instagram on Monday where he showcased the invitation card for Met Gala 2025 and also shared the details of the invite in a humorous manner. The caption of the video reads, “MET GALA Tomorrow. Daso Fer Ki Paiye Kal Nu; Halaa Laa Laa Karauni An” which translates to “Tell me what to wear tomorrow, need to dazzle everyone.”

The theme for Met Gala 2025 is decided to be ‘Black Dandyism’ and Diljit seems to be excited about it. He also shared that many other celebrities will be present there including rapper ASAP Rocky, NBA star LeBron James and many others. Diljit also casually mentioned Anna Wintour who is the editor for Vogue and also the host at the Met Gala 2025.

Since photography is prohibited at the event, Diljit made a funny remark saying, “Can’t make reels.” Each invitation card is sent to a single person and no other people will be allowed with them to attend the event. Talking about the restriction of the event, he said, “Per person, per plate da hisaab hai” which means “It’s a per person, per plate scenario.” Perhaps, Met Gala events are not very different than Indian weddings.
