Kali Uchis Embarks on For the Girls Tour at Sueños 2026 and Declares a New Album

Colombian-American singing star Kali Uchis kicked off her For the Girls Tour in 2026, and the grand start of the event brought some cinematic drama to the stage. Kali possesses a magical voice with a bilingual lyrical approach in her songs that includes Spanish and English, and fans have witnessed that in real time. The artist arrived at Sueños 2026 on a carriage, showcasing her royal presence on Saturday, May 23.

The ‘telepatía’ singer initiated the tour at Grant Park in Chicago, and the headlining main stage is well utilized. She nearly performed an hour-long set that included the smash hit tracks from her career. However, it was not just music as the artist also brought some soft-focus drama on stage, which makes her performance more captivating with a storytelling approach. This is also the signature style of the artist with a velvety smooth voice.

The artist made sure to curate her set list based on the fan favorites, and she performed all of her popular songs like “Telepatía,” “Dead to Me”, “After the Storm,”” Loner”, and “Moonlight.” Each of the songs came alive with the art of world-building and storytelling. Kali appeared on stage in an all-white look that did not look great on the artist but also depicted her angelic aura with context to her music. Her performance was a captivating experience for all the attendees, with choreography, male dancers with their chair routine, mirror-heavy tableaux, and others that helped create a cinematic experience that fans will remember for a long time.

The For the Girls Tour will be heading to New York after the Chicago performance, and then it will also take place in Los Angeles, Atlanta, and many other places. In a recent interview, Kali Uchis shared that she is evolving in her career after the Sincerely, Tour. She revealed that Mariah the Scientist was the perfect choice for the project called ‘For the Girls, ’ as she said, “I love her songwriting. I love that she champions that, her songwriting. I think she’s an amazing, really talented girl and this tour is for the girls!” The artist has also confirmed that the album ‘Spanglish’ is almost finished, and it is scheduled to be released soon.

When Uchis was asked about the show’s concept, she said, “My show has always been a bit theatrical in a sense. We did the angel wings and the pillow fighting, and now we’re gonna do some bottle breaking. We do the gun. A lot of different things feels like very much inspired by art cinema and that theatrical type of vibe.”
