One of the best performers of American Idol’s 20th season, Kenedi Anderson left the show for some personal problems.
Kenedi Anderson is one of the frontrunners of the show ‘American Idol’, but due to some personal reasons, she has to leave the competition when it just started to air last month.
She posted about this on Instagram that she will no longer be a part of this 20th season of the widely popular show.
Anderson wrote, ‘For personal reasons, I’m unable to continue on ‘American Idol’, she continued, ‘This has been one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make, but I know it’s necessary. I’m so grateful to ‘American Idol,’ the judges, the producers, the amazing contestants, and all the fans who have supported me.’
She concluded with lines like, ‘Thank You for giving me such an amazing opportunity to share my voice, chase my dreams, feel so much joy and happiness doing what I love, and make lifelong friends along the way.’
In her American Idol journey, she has gathered the attention of Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan, and Katy Perry in her auditions when she played the piano cover of lady Gaga’s ‘Applause’.

Bryan said ‘I mean, my head is spinning’, after witnessing her audition performance.
Perry said, ‘I’m threatened! They’re younger, they’re prettier, they sing really good!’
With that performance, she earned ‘yes’ from all three judges of the show advancing her to the next round of American Idol.
Only three competitors were given the platinum ticket and she was one of them in the 20th season of the show after she performed a rendition of Christina Perri’s ‘Human’.
Host Ryan Seacrest during the latest episode that aired on Monday conveyed to the viewers about Anderson’s decision.
Seacrest said, ‘You might have noticed that there was no voting information during Kenedi’s performance just now,’ he continued, ‘Since we taped these shows in Hawaii earlier, Kenedi has decided to withdraw from our show for personal reasons. We send her well wishes.’
The producer of ‘American Idol’, Fremantle Media said, ‘disappointed to see Kenedi leave.’
