Kim Petras will not be performing at this year’s Summer Festival. On April 24, the Grammy winner posted on social media to let her fans know that she is pulling out from several music festivals this summer due to some “health issues.” “My buns, I’m devastated to be writing this but I’m going through some health issues, and under medical advice I have had to make the hard decision to not perform at festivals this summer,” wrote Petras, on Wednesday. “I love u so much and I’ll make it up to you and be back better than ever very soon,” the 31-year-old singer continued her statement.

The ‘Unholy’ singer was set to perform at Primavera Sound Festival on May 29 in Spain, Mighty Hoopla on June 1 in the United Kingdom, Primavera Sound Porto on June 6 in Portugal, Lady Land on June 28 in New York City, and Capitol Hill Block Party on July in Seattle. The singer most recently performed at Oasis Wynwood in Miami on April 12, just days after she appeared with Madonna on stage on April 9 at the Queen of Pop’s Celebration Tour stop at the Florida city’s Kaseya Center.

In a cover story interview with Cosmopolitan the ‘Treat Me Like A Slut’ singer opened up about going to therapy following the success of Sam Smith’s collaboration ‘Unholy’. The song even earned a Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. “Therapy was necessary for me after having a huge song, to learn how to shut everything off,”Petras said in the March cover story. “I had a therapist in my teen years and stopped when things got busy. But I missed having someone to let everything out to. I recommend therapy to everyone; it’s an essential tool … The music industry can get very hectic.” She further explained how the chart-topping collaboration with Smith and its subsequent attention took over her life.

“It was insane,” Petras explained. “Suddenly I was traveling a lot, and there were more eyeballs on me than ever before. It felt like a huge breakthrough, as it shifted the music industry’s perception of me and what I could do.” Luckily her collaborator, Smith, 31, was there to get through with the newfound level of fame. “Sam’s such a wonderful person, and has been my coach in a lot of ways,” said the ‘Alone’ singer. “If I feel in a crisis, or read something about myself that I can’t deal with, I’ll text or call them. That level of media attention is really scary; it forced me to grow as a person, and it’s so inspiring to see Sam be able to brush that off,” she added.
