Lady Gaga has once again conquered the expectations of her fans dropping the music video for her exceptional soundtrack called ‘911’ from her sixth studio album Chromatica, online on Friday. Ending the anticipation of the fans, this song got an extraordinary music video after she released the video of ‘Rain on Me’ with Ariana Grande. The mesmerizing melodic flow of the song incorporated with her classic and unique resonance brings the whole aesthetics of the production to its dynamic height.
The music video was directed by Tarsem Singh and offers a journey to a surreal fantasy world consisting of an eclectic group of people residing in a small town in the desert where Gaga can be seen flaunting her usual ethereal outfits singing with her angelic voice. Things seem bizarre and get confusing but the unpredictable ending makes it all fall into pieces perfectly. The powerful symbolism used in the song and the video seems effortless being her signature style.
She said about the track, ‘This short film is very personal to me, my experience with mental health and the way reality and dreams can interconnect to form heroes within us and all around us.’ She also said earlier, ‘It’s about an antipsychotic that I take. And it’s because I can’t always control things that my brain does. I know that. And I have to take medication to stop the process that occurs.’
Before the song was released, Lady Gaga already performed it on last month’s MTV VMAs, as a part of a three-tune medley, and the audience has been waiting for the music video to come out for so long.
