On Sunday, Lady Gaga took the stage at the 64th Grammy Awards. With her brilliant musical performances, the 36-year-old singer has given audiences some really good times.

Tony Bennet offered a videotaped introduction for Lady Gaga, his duet partner. He offered his sincere and simple, “Hi everyone, please welcome Lady Gaga!” Gaga then brought the crowd down with an energetic rendition of “Love for Sale,” with a big musical arrangement of the Cole Porter standard. Gaga, wore a mint strapless gown adorned with a large bow, then she belted out a jazzy piano-filled rendition of “Do I Love You.”

The giant screen in the background showed, the two, Bennet and Gaga, recording a record in a studio. The performance was indeed Lady Gaga’s excellent ability with her vocal range. In the show, she has belted out some classic and pop songs too.

It was reported that Bennet and Gaga would not be performing together on Grammy night. Bennet’s son said, “Although the producers had invited both Tony and Gaga to perform in Sunday’s Grammys broadcast, it is unfortunate that due to his continuing struggle with Alzheimer’s, he was not able to accept.”

He further added, “There is no doubt, that she (Lady Gaga) will offer up an impeccable performance from ‘Love for Sale,’ which is Tony’s final album. He will be cheering her on as he watches from his home in New York City.”

The last time Gaga and Bennet performed songs from ‘Love For Sale’ was last year for two days Radio City concert. The making of their album was recorded and titled ‘The Lady and the Legend’. After that, 95-year-old, Bennet was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.

Gaga and Bennet were nominated for 5 Grammy awards this year including their single. ‘I Get a Kick Out of You’, their single, was also nominated for the Record of the Year.
