Lana Del Rey is bringing back memories with the latest rendition of FJM’s ‘Buddy’s Rendezvous’

Previously, ‘Summertime Sadness’ singer has covered the track ‘Chloë And The Next 20th Century’ by Joshua Tillman. The track was first previewed back in January this year and later on, it was released with a limited edition box set along with seven-inch vinyl as mentioned in the record.

In this latest project, Del Ray has teamed up with Tillman to proceed towards the end with a rendition of ‘Buddy’s Rendezvous’. This alternate version features piano, saxophone, and string instruments along with Lana’s magical voice. The duo has sung together for the project.

However, this is not the first time that the duo has collaborated. Previously, Father John Misty appeared in the official music video of ‘Freak’ which was released back in 2016. Later in an interview, FJM said that the project was like “a dream”.

In 2017, LDR was greatly praised by Tillman for her track ‘Ride’. The original version of ‘Buddy’s Rendezvous’ is also released with an official music video which is directed by Joshua’s wife Emma Elizabeth Tillman.

It has been confirmed by the artist that ‘RENAISSANCE’ will be released on July 29 and the fans have already started showering their love through social media posts and shares. The fans also pre-save or pre-add the release before it arrives on the major music platforms.

The cover of the music project is kept quite minimal, with a black background and the title written on it in white and in typewriter fonts.

Last year in 2021, Queen Bey dropped a powerful single titled ‘Be Alive’ that appears on the soundtrack of the movie ‘King Richard’.

The upcoming project is going to be the singer’s seventh studio-recorded album released next month.

The ‘Bad Habits’ singer-songwriter is all set for his 2023 Australia and New Zealand tour and announced three more dates for his fans. The additional tickets are also been released and are available for purchase.

It has been said that the news dates are being added “due to overwhelming demand”.

One of the new shows is taking place at the Sky Stadium in Wellington in February and another will take place at Eden Park in Auckland on February 11. Other than these two venues in New Zealand, another show is added t the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Queensland on February 19 for the Australian citizens.

More tickets have been added for other places such as Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, and Adelaide. The ticket for the newly added shows will go live on June 23.

The upcoming musical tour is titled the ‘+ – = ÷ x Tour’ or ‘The Mathematics Tour’ that came after a long halt in 2018.

In May, this versatile singer-songwriter dropped the latest version of his album ‘=’ known as the tour edition. It consists of two news tracks other than the original album.

Music Venue Trust and The National Lottery have joined forces and announced the return of Revive Live Tour this summer.  Many famous artists and musicians from the industry, such as Paolo Nutini, Sleaford Mods, Charlie XCX, etc are going to feature at the event.

The Revive Live Tour or the campaign started back in the 2020 summer to provide support to the UK venues to survive in the COVID situation. The first show took place among intimate crowds only and they witnessed the performances by Tom Jones, Wolf Alice, and Sam fender.

This dynamic music tour is making an epic comeback with a handful of winter dates taking place this year. The shows will feature Enter Shikari, Bastille, and many others from the industry.

It has been confirmed by the organizers that around 200 Revive Live concerts will take place all over the nation from June to September. The tickets for the upcoming shows will be available on June 17.
