Lil Nas X’s Father Became Emotional After Watching His Son in Jail

Lil Nas X has been arrested recently, and his father said how painful it is to see his son behind bars. Robert Stafford, the father of Lil Nas, gave an emotional interview after his son was arrested. His father broke down in tears and couldn’t control his emotions after seeing his son like this.

Robert Stafford stated ‘I went to visit him in jail, and as soon as I walked through that door, I couldn’t do anything but cry. To see my baby boy on the other side of that glass… We shed tears with each other for a minute’. He was trying to console Lil Nas and said that various struggles like this happen a lot of times in someone’s life. However, he is now feeling devastated because his son’s struggles have come in front of the public eye. This is what he is sadder about.

Lil Nas’s father even said ‘What you’re going through is normal. We all have breakdowns every now and then, but the difference is, yours played out in the public eye’. On August 21, Lil Nas was arrested in Los Angeles. The video of him walking down Ventura Boulevard went viral in no time. At first, the video of TMZ showed that the Grammy-winning singer and rapper was walking down the road in Los Angeles, only in white underwear, along with cowboy boots. But later, in another video, it came to see that he completely stripped down while singing Nicki Minaj’s portion from ‘Monster’ by Kanye West.

Due to the occurrence of such an obscene act on a public street led him to this consequence. The police confirmed to Page Six that they had witnessed the act at 5:50 a.m. And right after that, he was ‘charged’ and taken into their custody. Later that day, Lil Nas was first transported to a hospital. Everyone suspected that he might have overdosed on any kind of substance.

From this whole incident, it has come to know that the rapper is going through a mental illness. He pleaded not guilty and, after that, was released on bail. He had to spend the weekend in jail and could only get out with a $75,000 bail. As of now, it has been reported that he has been ordered by the Los Angeles judge to attend rehab meetings. The rapper has agreed to attend a rehab meeting after he was released.

This incident created a massive sensation on the internet. All of his fans were shocked after witnessing such a distressing incident. Right after getting the bail, Lil Nas said a few words on Instagram for his fans. He said it was a ‘f–king terrifying’ experience for him. He even then assured everyone that ‘your girl’s gonna be alright’. Thus, now it can be assumed that he will take care of his health more and come back in a much better way.
