Jimmy Buffett, the legendary American singer-songwriter recently died on the 1st of September at the age of 76 due to skin cancer. His death has made a huge impact on the music industry as he was one of the profound artists of country-rock music. Right after his death, his three songs have been released. His posthumous album ‘Equal Strain on All Parts’ is set to be released later this year. It is being said that the album is the very last gift from Buffett to his fans.

In this album, he also collaborated with his friend Sir Paul McCartney for the soundtrack ‘Bubbles Up’. McCartney has said it is the best vocal of Jimmy Buffett’s career. Buffett completed this album right before his death, so it is definitely a special one for every listener of him. ‘Equal Strain on All Parts’ has fourteen soundscapes, which he has recorded under the label Mailboat Records and it will be distributed by Memphis label Sun Records.

Three songs from the album have been released. Those are known as ‘Bubbles Up’, Like My Dog’, and ‘My Gummie Just Kicked In’. In the track ‘Bubbles Up’ there is a chorus that says ‘Just know that you are loved, there is light up above, and joy, there’s always enough’. Listeners are assuming it is goodbye from the singer. But after the chorus, Buffett added a hysterical tune which has always been a signature essence of his creation. Apart from music, Buffett has always won everyone’s hearts with his humor. And in this song too, he hadn’t missed that.

The song ‘My Gummie Just Kicked In’ is also a special one. This track was inspired by a dinner party where Buffettand his wife along with McCartney and his wife were present. In their conversation, McCartney’s wife responded ‘I’m fine. My gummy just kicked in!’. And from this, the artist got the idea of making this song. As both Buffett and McCartney were in the scenario, and the artist made a song on that event, it became even more special for McCartney. He has also said it was a ‘very happy and a real fun session’ working with him.
