Madonna Shocks Everyone with a Surprise Pride Party at NYC Times Square

Queen of pop Madonna shocked her fans with a surprise concert that took place in Times Square, NYC. This concert was held to celebrate Pride Month, which is celebrated in June every year. This special event was arranged by Grindr after the pop queens collaborated with them in April. The celebration through the music concert was arranged on June 4, and stopping the traffic to make this Pride Month pop-up at The Square is truly badass.

It was such an impromptu concert that it took some time for people to understand that the stage was set within minutes. The concert felt like a secret cool party arranged for the LGBTQ+ community, where the skyscrapers opened up and time stopped.

The 18,000 square feet of LED screens played a huge role in this concert, revealing this surprise performance at 6:27 p.m. ET, and it took place in no time. The pop queen started her performance with “I Feel So Free” from Confessions II, and there was Stuart Price to back her up, who is also the producer for the classic album ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor’ in 2005.

They have arranged a smart setlist with three tracks from the album ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor’ and three songs from ‘Confessions II’ to make this confessional jam session theme-oriented and perfect for the celebration of Pride Month.

The 67-year-old pop star asked the crowd, “All right New York City, are you ready for this?” and the loud buzz could be heard from far. Madonna seems to be hardly aging, and the energy she offered with a sassy pink corset dress was immaculate. The Grindr-sponsored event started with “I Feel So Free” and “Bring Your Love”; however, Sabrina was not there. She also performed a new track called “Love Sensation,” which is perfect for the event that celebrates love among all.

There is no doubt that the artist leveraged this opportunity to tease her album ‘Confessions II’ that has already become a fan favorite. Madonna offered a gradual and energetic progression with “Get Together,” the extra saucy “I Love New York,” and lastly “Hung Up”. But the concert was arranged for a cause, and it was evident when the venue lights focused on the Pride Flag and Times Square turned into a historical screening of the roots and rebellious energy of the Pride community.
