As reported this is possibly the biggest negotiation by an individual by far. Bruce Springsteen has sold his entire body of Work to Sony for $500m.

The celebrated musician has made more than 300 songs, 20 Studio albums, and other items, Including his 15-times platinum album ‘Born in the USA’, a supremely popular album of 1984. And five-time Platinum ‘The River’ was released in 1980.

Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Steve Sager, David Bowie, Niel Young, and Carol Bayer Sager had made deals like this in the past few years with different Music Labels.

Warner Music bought Bowie’s catalog of music. And Bob Dylan sold his body of work including more than 600 songs to Universal Music Group for around $300m which was reported last December but the actual figure was not disclosed.

Nicks’s deal was also reported with Primary Wave Music, was worth $100m, and included an 80% stake in her music properties. Primary Wave Company will be having the rights of her solos like, ‘Edge of Seventeen alongside the songs recorded with the band Fleetwood Mac, such as ‘Rhiannon’, and ‘Landslide’.

Simon also made a deal with Sony Music Publishing in May of this year, selling the rights to his song catalog. The sum of money was not disclosed.

Sony’s Columbia records did not respond immediately to this request made by the representatives of Springsteen.

The popular Heartland Rock Musician delivered songs like ‘Born to Run’ released in 1975, ‘Badlands’, and ‘Dancing in the Dark. He has been working with Columbia Records label since 1978. And the label is now owned by Sony.

‘Like a Rolling Stone’, ‘Subterranean Homesick Blues’ and ‘All Along the Watchtower’ were celebrated hugely by Rock genre fans.

Not the singer or the music company made any comments regarding this matter. But the report came from reliable sources.

He has been working since 1964, and he has won 20 Grammy, two Golden Globes, and an Academy Award in his vast musical career.

Rolling Stone has ranked him 23rd of the Greatest Artists of All Time list. He was included in both ‘the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999.
