A very popular name in country music Naomi Judd won many hearts for her ecstatic vocals and musical bonds offered through her songs and melodies, died on 30th April.

Naomi and her daughter Wynonna formed their country music duo in 1983. And in 1990 they released their historical album ‘Love Can Build a Bridge‘. No sooner Naomi was diagnosed with Hepatitis C. And in 1991 their band split up.

In 2000, when she regained her health they started to perform again and gained back their popularity. But since the tour ended she was suffering from depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and suicidal thoughts. And after she started the medication the situation worsened. She started to face alopecia and tremors.

On 30th April Ashley twitted about it and said, ‘Today we sisters experienced a tragedy. We lost our beautiful mother to the disease of mental illness. We are shattered. We are navigating profound grief and know that as we loved her, she was loved by her public. We are in unknown territory’. On the 30th of April Naomi committed suicide she was 76 when she died.

Various celebrities have mourned the demise of the veteran singer, who daunted every country chart for eight years straight. Singer Maren Morris said, ‘Rest In Peace, Naomi Judd. Honored to have witnessed ‘Love Can Build a Bridge’ just a few short weeks ago’, on her Twitter account.

Melissa Etheridge said, ‘I am sending love and peace to Wynonna tonight. All the daughters in the world know the special place a mother holds in our hearts. Know that she is no longer in pain. Peace, my friend. #NaomiJudd’. The famous country singer Carrie Underwood posted on Twitter, ‘Country music lost a true legend…sing with the angels, Naomi!!! We’re all sending up prayers for the Judd family today…’

Just a day before she and her daughter Wynonna were included in the Country Music Hall of Fame. Naomi and Wynonna were known as The Judds. They have dominated the 80s era with their country tracks. She last performed on stage on 11th April.

DJ Stoney Richard said that he could believe the news. He said, ‘Naomi was such a strong woman you would never expect this to take her down’, he added, ‘We never expect any of those things to take us down but she leaves a great legacy and two beautiful daughters, and again in this business the music, the music lives on.’
