Pitbull Made a Guinness World Record with the Maximum Number of ‘Bald Capped’ Audiences at the London Festival

Pitbull is one of those globally revered rappers who set a benchmark for himself with catchy bars and an unwavering personality. Mr. Worldwide is loved by everyone and is something the world has witnessed again at the London festival. This event has also set a Guinness World Record by being the ‘largest gathering of bald capped people’.

This might appear hilarious to many, but what is the point of attending Pitbull’s concert if there’s no fun? The event that took place in Hyde Park of London, witnessed around 22,141 fans who wore ‘bald caps’ to show support and love for the rapper, and Pitbull accepted it heartily. The BST Festival was headlined by Pitbull, and it made a huge record.

While accepting the award, the rapper said, “I’m speechless. Who would have thought a first-generation Cuban would be record-breaking and record-making?” and it is 100% true. The bald cap event is perhaps one of best events of this year where Pitbull wore the bald cap despite of being bald. Since the record was for “largest gathering of bald people” instead of largest gathering of bald people, the rapper wanted to be a part of the record.

The entire scene was handled quite professionally, with around 400 volunteers checking the attendees individually. There was also “drone footage with 42 counters backstage,” according to Will Munford, who is an official adjudicator for Guinness World Records. The idea of bald-capped attendees came from a fan only named Remmington, who said, “This whole thing is happening because of me.”

Previously, Remmington shared a TikTok video that went viral with this idea. BST saw the video, and they said it was “easily enough to break the world record of people cosplaying as Pitbull” with their 65,000 capacity. Remmington communicated with Guinness World Records and BBC Radio 1 to conduct this, and they contacted Pitbull to check if he was up for the challenge, and he obviously was.

Pitbull announced this initiative back in February and encouraged fans to gather at BST Hyde Park for this massive record on July 10. At that time, Pitbull said in a statement, “Let me tell you how I feel about all the bald-e’s that’s gonna be putting it down,” He further added, “I just wanna let y’all know that every time you put on that bald cap, you know you’re about to have the time of your lives. I appreciate the love, I appreciate the commitment, I appreciate the support and more than anything, I just want to say thank you. Dale!”

Mr. Worldwide Pitbull made the record for “largest gathering of people wearing bald caps” that no artist had before!
