Beyoncé is paying tribute to her country heritage with this extensive three-part album, ‘Renaissance’. She already dropped the first installment of her seventh studio album was released in July 2022, and now she is ready to drop the sophomore act of her first-ever country venture. She recently teased about the album on social media and publicized the name ‘Cowboy Carter’ for her audience.

The first two releases of this installment, ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ and ‘16 Carriages’ have been released already and people love this side of her musical artistry. It is anticipated that the project will be out on the 29th of March. This part of her 2022 album has been one of the most highly anticipated releases this year. While she was releasing her 2022 release, she wrote a one-liner note along with the album. In the note, she mentioned, “This three-act project was recorded over three years during the pandemic. A time to be still, but also a time I found to be the most creative.”

Her ‘Renaissance’ era ended with the release of the supporting tour of that album in December 2023. By the end of the tour, she released another surprise single, ‘My House’ as well. The track was also featured in the film based on that tour. The ‘Formation’ star confirmed the second album at the Super Bowl on Feb. 11, in her Verizon commercial with Tony Hale. She said, “Okay, drop the new music”. Shortly after that announcement, she released the lead single from her second installment on several social media channels.

Country legend Dolly Parton shared her thoughts after Beyoncé re-recorded a rendition of her renowned number ‘Jolene’. Parton said, “I think it’s probably gonna be on her country album, which I’m very excited about,” she also added, “I love her! She’s a beautiful girl and a great singer.” Parton also mentioned that she has been in a contract with Beyoncé for a few years. In a song from her upcoming release, ‘Cowboy Carter’, she says, “It’s been 38 summers, and I’m not in my bed,” which suggests that she recorded this number, ‘16 Carriages’ when she was 38 years old, and now she is 42. The pandemic might have been the reason for this long delay.
